Junior DevOps CI/CD Engineer

Location: Wildpoldsried, Germany; remote workplace model with flexibility to balance office hours and remote work

SYSTABUILD is building a shared cloud and platform foundation for software companies in the construction, CAD, and ERP domains.

What you will do

• Support and further develop CI/CD pipelines across multiple teams and repositories.
• Operate and improve Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, SonarQube, and related development tooling.
• Standardize pipelines, templates, and workflows to improve developer experience and software quality.
• Integrate quality gates, security checks, and automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues with development teams and improve build reliability.
• Support repository, pipeline, and tooling migrations across the SYSTABUILD group while documenting processes and best practices.

Requirements

• First hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitHub Enterprise, or similar tools.
• Experience with scripting or automation using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or comparable technologies.
• Basic understanding of Git, pull requests, branching strategies, infrastructure, and cloud concepts.
• Initial experience with build and test automation for at least one programming ecosystem, such as .NET, Delphi, or C++.
• Familiarity with SonarQube or similar static analysis tools and good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn Infrastructure as Code, security practices, and cloud-native tooling.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure DevOps organizations, pipelines, or boards.
• Exposure to GitHub Enterprise administration or repository management.
• Familiarity with Docker.
• Interest in cloud platforms, especially AWS.
