Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Location: Brno, Czech Republic. Hybrid 3+2 schedule with at least 3 days per week in the office, including mandatory Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and up to 2 days working from home.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate automation and self-service platforms for engineering teams.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, reusable modules, pipelines, and templates using Terraform and scripting.
• Design end-to-end self-service request flows with forms, approvals, policy checks, and backend automation.
• Deploy and manage primarily Azure infrastructure, with supporting AWS workloads, Docker, and Kubernetes platforms.
• Integrate self-service tools with CI/CD, identity, collaboration, and service-desk systems.
• Mentor engineers, lead cross-team initiatives, and define platform roadmaps and success metrics.

Requirements

• Senior experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE building and operating internal platforms or developer tooling.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure and AWS, scripting/coding, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or Flux.
• Experience automating self-service workflows, access provisioning, environment creation, and service catalog requests.
• Knowledge of GitHub, Azure AD/Entra ID, role- and group-based access, observability, incident response, security, compliance, and auditability.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, consensus-building, and cross-team leadership skills.
