Assembly Backend Technician (System & Tooling)

What you will do

• Maintain and sustain Trim & Form systems and tooling used in assembly backend operations.
• Perform periodic preventive maintenance on system handlers, tooling, and laser markers.
• Execute system and tooling conversions to support manufacturing goals.
• Reduce machine downtime and support MTBA targets.
• Conduct tooling health checks, maintain spare tool readiness, and enable quick tool changeovers.
• Manage equipment maintenance activities and fabricate spare parts while maintaining discipline and reliability with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Alternatively, a relevant certificate with at least 5 years of experience working with assembly backend equipment.
• Technical skills with semiconductor assembly backend equipment and knowledge of production and process handling.
• Experience in semiconductor assembly and applied statistics is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work long hours and shifts, with strong safety and quality awareness.
