AI Automation Engineer (MarTech)

Location: Working hours must strongly overlap with US Eastern time

What you will do

• Build production AI agents and chains that complete end-to-end business work.
• Write, version, test, and maintain prompts and reusable AI skills.
• Develop cross-system automations using n8n, Zapier, and custom code.
• Help sales, marketing, customer success, and other teams become AI-native and self-sufficient.
• Build internal tools, evals, and observability for measuring, tracing, monitoring, and controlling AI systems.
• Use company data with retrieval/RAG, diagnose failures, reduce hallucinations, and implement production guardrails.

Requirements

• Production experience shipping and operating real AI systems used by others.
• Strong broader engineering experience with coding, databases, APIs, and MCP.
• Ability to select AI tools, LLMs, and agents based on cost, latency, context, reliability, and use case.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code, Claude Cowork, AI-native hosting such as Vercel, n8n, and Zapier.
• Experience building evals and observability, including measurement, monitoring, tracing, and cost control.
• Working hours must overlap strongly with US Eastern time.

Nice to have

• Basic security and data protection knowledge.
• AEO/GEO experience.
• Deeper software engineering experience.
• Exposure to HubSpot, Fathom, Slack, Google Workspace, PostHog, Intercom, BigQuery, GCP, Vercel, v0, Lovable, and GitHub.
