Operations and Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Onsite at Trenton Corporate, 320 S Warren St, Trenton, New Jersey, United States of America. Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 07:00–15:30, with varying shifts, overtime, on-call coverage, and 12-hour rotating shifts as needed.

Salary: $50.22–$55.93 per hour, with a mandatory annuity deduction of $4.70.

What you will do

• Perform corrective maintenance and repair plant equipment.
• Operate and maintain equipment in cogeneration facilities and customer boiler facilities.
• Align valves and equipment and communicate and verify equipment startups and shutdowns.
• Support plant and district outages by securing systems, draining, filling, and completing related activities.
• Provide Control Room Operator or Auxiliary Operator coverage during absences and operational needs.
• Drive to customer locations to inspect and maintain equipment when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 3 years of industrial operations and maintenance experience.
• Experience with boilers, chillers, engines, compressors, pumps, cogeneration, waste heat, and Cleaver-Brooks boilers.
• NJ Black Seal Stationary license or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Ability to climb, lift and carry up to 50 lbs., work at heights and in confined spaces, operate a forklift, work outdoors, and wear required personal protective equipment.

Nice to have

• NJ Blue Seal Stationary license.
