Manager, Technology & Business Strategy (Fintech)

Location: On site in Austin, TX or Southlake, TX; applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Salary: USD $93,300–$160,000 per year, plus potential bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Shape the strategic direction of a large-scale technology organization in partnership with technology and business leaders.
• Lead workstreams covering strategy development, operating model evolution, and technology transformation.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research and analyze data to evaluate business and technology opportunities.
• Translate complex findings into actionable recommendations, executive insights, and presentations.
• Influence decisions involving Agile and DevOps practices, cloud and digital platforms, technology investments, and organizational effectiveness.
• Build relationships across cross-functional stakeholders and manage competing priorities across multiple projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in management consulting, technology strategy, corporate strategy, business transformation, or a related strategic role.
• Experience solving complex business and technology challenges through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Experience researching, analyzing data, gathering stakeholder input, and synthesizing findings for senior leaders.
• Ability to lead workstreams across multiple projects while managing competing deadlines.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across functions and communicate complex concepts clearly.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience at a top-tier consulting firm or internal strategy organization supporting enterprise-scale initiatives.
• Experience in financial services, technology organizations, or highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of technology strategy, Agile, DevOps, digital platforms, cloud technologies, AI, technology operating models, cybersecurity, data strategy, or data governance.
• Experience developing business cases, evaluating investment opportunities, and supporting strategic planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
