What you will do

• Lead the development of the AI platform's services, including the knowledge system, agent/skill library, and AI Ops functions.
• Design and implement AI artifact evaluation infrastructure, health metrics, and adoption dashboards.
• Manage the lifecycle of AI assets such as skills, instructions, agents, and MCP-style integrations.
• Hire, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of platform and AI engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and prioritize AI platform capabilities.
• Evaluate the evolving AI landscape to determine new technologies for platform adoption.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in direct management or technical leadership.
• Experience building AI/ML and DevOps platforms (RAG, vector search, agent orchestration, LLM tool-use).
• Proven track record of scaling a platform from proof-of-concept to production use across multiple teams.
• Strong technical judgment regarding build-vs-buy decisions and cloud AI infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be local to North Reading, MA.
