Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Deploy, configure, and operationalize the Kovr AI Platform in cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and classified customer environments.
• Build integrations with DevSecOps toolchains, CI/CD pipelines, compliance workflows, and enterprise APIs.
• Automate evidence collection, continuous monitoring, RMF authorization processes, SSP generation, control mapping, and POA&M workflows.
• Write and maintain code, scripts, Terraform, Helm configurations, and infrastructure-as-code for platform components and integrations.
• Troubleshoot deployment, integration, data-ingestion, and performance issues, including in on-site and classified environments.
• Lead technical onboarding, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and produce deployment guides, runbooks, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• 5+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, or DevOps experience in enterprise or federal IT environments.
• Experience deploying software across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, GCP, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
• Proficiency with DevSecOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, ArgoCD, and containerized deployments.
• Programming or scripting experience in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages, plus API development and integration experience.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, RMF, FISMA, CMMC, ATO processes, SSP development, and continuous monitoring; ability to work in classified or air-gapped environments supporting IL2–IL6.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, or enterprise AI/ML implementation.
• Cloud certification such as AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, or an Azure/GCP equivalent.
• Security certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or Security+.
