Lead IT Program Manager (Financial Services)

Location: On-site in Austin, Texas, United States

Salary: $160,000–$185,000 per year, plus bonus or incentive opportunities

What you will do

• Lead large-scale, complex technology programs from concept and planning through execution and delivery.
• Align product, engineering, business, and other stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, forecasts, resource plans, risks, and quality.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches to maintain delivery momentum.
• Use data, financial insights, and performance metrics to support decisions and optimize resources.
• Mentor project managers and delivery teams while fostering accountability and collaboration.

Requirements

• 10+ years of project management experience leading large, complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Experience delivering multi-million-dollar, enterprise-wide strategic programs with measurable business outcomes.
• Experience with project, program, and portfolio management, including governance, planning, and execution.
• Hands-on experience with Agile and/or traditional delivery methodologies.
• Strong financial forecasting, budgeting, resource planning, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or similarly regulated environments.
• Experience with Agile or Scaled Agile frameworks.
• Experience mentoring or coaching project managers or delivery teams.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification.
