Manager, Data Engineering (DAFgiving360)

Salary: $145,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable data ingestion, transformation, integration, and orchestration pipelines.
• Develop reusable data products and shared engineering patterns using modern cloud data architecture.
• Improve platform reliability, performance, maintainability, monitoring, alerting, and operational recovery.
• Onboard data sources across raw, staging, and analytics-ready layers while simplifying legacy structures.
• Implement data quality checks, automated testing, observability, metadata, lineage, and governance practices.
• Build foundational data assets for analytics, automation, machine learning, and future AI use cases.

Requirements

• Must be currently authorized to work full time in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, analytics engineering, software engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling expertise, with experience designing durable business-aligned data structures.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration, cloud data platforms, warehouse/lake/lakehouse environments, and medallion patterns.
• Experience supporting production systems, data governance, metadata, lineage, data quality, incident response, and cross-functional technical delivery.
