Senior Frontend Marketing Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Carmel, Indiana or Toronto, Canada, or remote within the United States or Canada

Annual salary: $100,000–$125,000

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and optimize marketing websites, landing pages, campaign experiences, microsites, and related digital properties.
• Develop reusable frontend components, templates, and design patterns to improve deployment speed and scalability.
• Configure WordPress, including custom themes, plugins, CMS architecture, content workflows, and security updates.
• Manage codebases through GitHub, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Translate Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud designs into accessible, responsive web experiences and deploy updates across development, staging, and production.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and refactor existing codebases while maintaining performance, accessibility, SEO, security, and reliability.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on web development experience.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript, responsive design, Tailwind CSS or Sass, and component-based workflows.
• Experience building and managing WordPress websites with custom themes, templates, plugins, PHP, and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with Astro or a similar frontend framework, GitHub version control, and multi-environment deployment pipelines.
• Experience using OpenAI, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
• Portfolio, GitHub profile, or relevant examples of live websites, landing pages, frontend builds, or case studies.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive, marketplace, B2B, SaaS, or technology-driven businesses.
• Knowledge of site reliability, uptime monitoring, error tracking, logging, alerting, and post-launch QA.
• Advanced web security knowledge, including content security policies and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience with AWS, Cloudflare, WP Engine, Netlify, or Vercel.
• Advanced analytics implementation, including server-side tagging, consent management, attribution tracking, and data layer strategy.
