Frontend Developer (AI)

Location: Remote within Canada, Toronto

Salary: CAD 89,250–99,750 per year

What you will do

• Implement creative and design concepts across banners, CRM, email, microsites, and other digital projects.
• Build and maintain projects on WYNG and PRM platforms, as well as custom responsive applications.
• Write reliable, standards-compliant code and support releases to live environments.
• Collaborate with testers to validate functionality and own day-to-day bug fixing.
• Assess the technical feasibility of creative concepts and contribute to the design process early.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, reviews, iterative delivery, and technology research.

Requirements

• Strong HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, and Angular or comparable framework experience.
• Experience hand-coding HTML email and understanding cross-client rendering best practices.
• Familiarity with NPM, Git, Gulp or Grunt, web services, JSON, and WordPress or AEM.
• Experience implementing third-party ad-serving platforms and interpreting creative direction.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, prioritization, time management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with generative AI tools and personal AI workflows, including critical review of AI-generated code and systematic decomposition of complex builds.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services.
• Formal qualifications or equivalent experience gained through self-directed learning, open-source contribution, or professional work.
