VP, Assistant Branch Manager (Finance)

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland, United States; flexibility to relocate across the U.S. branch network when a Branch Manager role becomes available.

Salary: USD 104,600–174,800 per year, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Develop and implement a local business plan to grow market share and client assets.
• Coach and develop branch professionals across performance, engagement, and recognition.
• Support client relationships and business development within the community and Schwab network.
• Collaborate with the Branch Manager on branch leadership and operational priorities.
• Build the capabilities required to progress into a Branch Manager position.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience.
• Valid and active Series 7, Series 66 or Series 63/65, and Series 9/10 or Series 8 licenses required. The Series 9/10 or Series 8 license may be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to relocate across the U.S. branch network when a manager role becomes available.
• At least five years of financial services experience with leadership experience is preferred.
• Experience in business development, employee coaching, performance management, and employee engagement.
• Strong brokerage and industry knowledge; NMLS registration and SAFE Act background checks are required for employees involved in residential mortgage loan origination.
