Wealth Advisor - Mechanics Bank (Finance)

Location: On-site at a local bank branch in El Sobrante, Monterey, Salinas, or Santa Cruz, California

Salary: $66,560–$80,000 per year, plus eligibility for sales incentive compensation

What you will do

• Provide needs-based investment, brokerage, advisory, and insurance solutions to retail banking clients.
• Use a consultative and holistic sales process to assess client needs and objectives.
• Build and manage relationships with branch managers, branch staff, and centers of influence.
• Support branch referral efforts and identify cross-selling opportunities between banking and wealth management services.
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience while meeting or exceeding territory sales goals.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, broker-dealer, institutional, and product requirements.

Requirements

• At least two years of investment sales experience, preferably within a financial institution.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Active State Applicable Life Insurance License, Series 7, and Series 63 registration where required.
• Active Series 65 or 66 registration where required; any required inactive registration must be obtained within the first six months.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, and broker-dealer applications.
• Strong communication, organization, research, analysis, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
