What you will do

• Develop and optimise protein design and engineering methodologies.
• Build and evaluate libraries of redesigned enzymes.
• Create high-throughput screening and selection workflows.
• Explore biocatalytic strategies for diverse chemical transformations and sustainable manufacturing.
• Collaborate with academic and industrial partners across multiple research projects.
• Contribute to research outputs within the Green Group.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent in a relevant field, with the thesis submitted before starting.
• Strong foundation in enzyme engineering, biocatalysis, protein expression, and mutagenesis or directed evolution.
• Track record of developing innovative experimental approaches.
• Research experience relevant to protein design and engineering.
