TL;DR
Senior Application Developer (Azure): Designing, building, and maintaining enterprise applications across Azure and on-premises environments with an accent on full-stack development, cloud architecture, and DevOps automation. Focus on integrating AI-assisted software delivery practices, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating with distributed engineering teams to modernize legacy and modern stacks.
Location: Must be based in or able to commute to East Aurora/Buffalo, NY for a hybrid schedule (approx. 3 days/week)
Salary: $110,000–$140,000 Annually

What you will do
- Design and maintain enterprise cloud applications using .NET and Java frameworks.
- Implement and manage DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Apply AI-assisted development practices to modernize legacy code and improve performance.
- Manage data platforms on Azure and on-premises, ensuring integrity and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, architecture, and business stakeholders.
- Provide support for business-critical production systems, including on-call rotations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with Azure services (Functions, APIs, messaging, data services).
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, Python, or similar languages.
- Must be able to work on-site in East Aurora, NY (hybrid).
- Must have authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information.
Nice to have
- Experience with event-driven architectures.
- Exposure to AI/ML integration or MLOps concepts.
- Background in manufacturing or industrial systems.
