Senior Director, Portfolio and Project Management Lead

Location: Remote (US); up to 20% domestic and international travel

Salary: $214,500–$284,500 annually

What you will do

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, team charters, scopes, milestones, budgets, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Lead global cross-functional planning, governance, core team meetings, decision-making, and delivery of partnership program goals.
• Manage operational and quality KPIs, dashboards, reports, risk management, and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide alliance management for drug development partners and coordinate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support partnership strategy, market intelligence assessment, governance processes, and integration with Global R&D systems and technologies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree required; PhD preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in drug development or commercial roles within academia, consulting, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology organizations.
• Experience managing complex, scaled global portfolios and programs, with knowledge of worldwide clinical trial practices.
• Fluent written and verbal English and strong interpersonal, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with multicultural and international teams; 5+ years in global portfolio leadership is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; PMP certification is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience in oncology or hematology drug development.
• PhD or PMP certification.
