Program Manager (Genomics)

What you will do

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of strategic programs across revenue cycle management, product development, laboratory improvements, and digital platforms.
• Partner with product, clinical, laboratory operations, informatics, software engineering, regulatory, and quality leaders to define objectives, priorities, and success metrics.
• Establish program timelines, milestones, budgets, governance structures, dashboards, and reporting.
• Facilitate steering committee and stakeholder meetings, communicate risks and decisions, and report progress to executive leadership.
• Manage dependencies, resources, risks, and issue escalation across multiple workstreams.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, HIPAA, and Part 11 throughout the program lifecycle, and lead post-implementation reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, health administration, business, engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of program or project management experience, including at least 3 years in healthcare, biotechnology, or diagnostic laboratory settings.
• Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs involving complex systems integration and business process transformation.
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, clinical testing processes, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft tools.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to have

• Experience in diagnostics, genomics, molecular testing, or other regulated laboratory environments.
• Experience leading enterprise software implementations, including ERP consolidations or master data management.
• PMP, PgMP, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent certification.
• Experience supporting the development or commercialization of clinical laboratory tests.
