Data Scientist (Gaming)

Location: Seattle, WA or Remote US

Annual salary: $140,000–$165,000 USD

What you will do

• Analyze customer, device, and subscription data from a user base of more than one million devices and hundreds of thousands of active subscribers.
• Turn questions from teams across the company into actionable data studies and investigations.
• Design studies and collaborate with the analytics team to automate and maintain recurring analytical frameworks.
• Document findings in clear written reports and white papers for audiences across the company.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or 6+ years as a Business Analyst.
• Proficiency in SQL, including retrieving data from Amazon Redshift.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments requiring iteration and investigation.
• Strong written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python or R alongside SQL.
• Experience with machine learning tools or large-scale data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark.
• Experience with A/B testing methodology.
• Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
