Graduate Operations Executive (AI)

Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire, UK; onsite five days per week

What you will do

• Design and develop digital tools and applications for procurement, quality, and inventory management.
• Work with procurement, finance, stores, and other business teams to translate functional requirements into practical digital solutions.
• Identify and implement AI and workflow automation opportunities for repetitive operational activities.
• Analyse data from multiple sources and create dashboards, reports, and visualisations for operational decision-making.
• Support the implementation and testing of new solutions and document processes, applications, and user guides.
• Explore emerging AI technologies and recommend practical applications for Internal Operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and learning skills.
• Experience developing applications, software, or digital solutions through university, placements, or personal projects.
• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, C#, or low-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform.
• Understanding of databases, APIs, and data analysis, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Must be able to work onsite in Wallingford five days per week; sponsorship and relocation are not provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, or Power BI.
• Experience using Large Language Models or AI APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL, data visualisation, process mapping, or business process improvement.
• Understanding of procurement or supply chain principles.
