Staff Software Engineer (.NET)

What you will do

• Lead the design and architecture of major systems and services, ensuring scalability, reliability, maintainability, and alignment with business needs.
• Define and prioritize technical requirements with solution managers, engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders.
• Resolve complex, high-priority issues across development and production environments while supporting software quality and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and help improve engineering skills and productivity.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies, methodologies, and AI capabilities to improve software performance and development workflows.
• Ensure functional and performance requirements are met through automated unit, integration, and other testing frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8–12 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with .NET/.NET Core, C#, Angular, JavaScript, SQL Server, and cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
• Experience with software application development and the software development lifecycle.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification is required at hire.
• Ability to work additional or irregular hours when needed and comply with applicable security policies.

Nice to have

• Healthcare industry experience and knowledge of HL7 standards.
• Experience with C# web applications, Angular, RESTful Web APIs, debugging, and application services.
• Playwright or comparable test automation, and NUnit, xUnit, or comparable unit testing frameworks.
• Agile Scrum, DevOps, or SRE experience, including Azure Pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
• Experience with Logic Apps, BizTalk, TypeScript, and App Services.
