Test Systems Commissioning Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead commissioning activities for complex bespoke test equipment, delivering systems on time, within specification, and on budget.
• Oversee mechanical and electrical assembly and resolve build issues with Design Engineering.
• Drive system integration, formal verification testing, customer validation, and correlation testing.
• Analyze test results and ensure verification reports and as-built drawings are completed and released.
• Support calibration procedures, hydraulic and electrical facility-service integration, and facility readiness.
• Deliver end-user training, write user and maintenance manuals, and uphold health and safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, or Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace, automotive, or another complex engineering environment.
• Proven experience commissioning test systems or test equipment.
• Strong diagnostic skills across hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with Systems Engineering principles, especially Verification and Validation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with DOORS, Subversion/JIRA, Teamcenter, or NX is beneficial.
