Coding Quality Coach (Medical Coding)

What you will do

• Perform medical coding quality audits according to established policies and procedures.
• Apply Medicare, CMS, and pay program guidelines to verify coding compliance.
• Complete audits based on daily quality-team priorities across service lines.
• Provide feedback and guidance on audited records and agency-requested revisions.
• Analyze coder review quality and communicate concerns to the quality management team.
• Collaborate with operations on coder performance metrics and internal quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Coding certification: HCS-D or BCHH-C.
• OASIS certification: HCS-O.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required for U.S.-based positions.
• Ability to work additional or irregular hours as needed and sit at a computer for extended periods.
