Coding Quality Coach (Healthcare)

Location: Remote; U.S. work authorization required for U.S.-based positions

What you will do

• Perform medical coding quality audits according to quality policies, Medicare and CMS guidelines, program requirements, regulatory standards, and contracts.
• Complete audits based on daily quality-team priorities across all service lines.
• Provide feedback and guidance on audited records and requested agency revisions.
• Analyze coder review quality and communicate concerns to the quality management team.
• Collaborate with operations to track coding-team performance against key metrics and internal quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Coding certification: HCS-D or BCHH-C.
• OASIS certification: HCS-O.
• Applicants for U.S.-based positions must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification is required at hire.
• Ability to work additional or irregular hours when needed and view a computer screen for extended periods.
