Industry Specialist, Manufacturing

What you will do

• Serve as the manufacturing industry subject matter expert across sales, solution design, delivery, product/IP, and leadership teams.
• Monitor manufacturing trends, regulatory changes, operational shifts, customer pain points, and emerging best practices.
• Own business process maps covering workflows, decision points, integrations, reporting needs, role-based activities, and process variations.
• Shape industry IP, accelerators, templates, packaged services, use cases, and repeatable solution assets.
• Support presales discovery, solution workshops, customer demos, SOW development, requirements validation, and implementation planning.
• Help identify scope risks, improve estimate accuracy and solution repeatability, and support revenue, margin, billable utilization, and bookings goals.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in industry-specific subject matter expertise, business process consulting, solution consulting, product/IP support, delivery advisory, or a related consulting role.
• Deep expertise in one or more industry verticals and the ability to translate business practices into process maps, solution requirements, and client recommendations.
• Experience with business process design, operational workflows, requirements gathering, solution validation, and customer outcome alignment.
• Experience supporting technology implementations, business applications, ERP, CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, data, or analytics solutions.
• Strong client-facing communication, analytical problem-solving, commercial awareness, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant certifications and advanced domain credentials are preferred.
