What you will do
- Lead the design and delivery of AI platforms, conversational AI, enterprise knowledge solutions, and reusable digital and mobile channel integration frameworks.
- Oversee intelligent automation for KYC, compliance, customer service, and risk monitoring, including agent workflows and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Operationalize generative AI, large language models, embedding models, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evaluation, monitoring, retraining, and drift management.
- Provide technical leadership for Azure and AWS AI/ML pipelines, foundation model deployments, secure data storage, serverless services, and cloud-native architectures.
- Apply containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, MLOps, and generative AI design patterns while evaluating tools such as LangChain, CrewAI, Pinecone, Azure OpenAI, and Bedrock.
- Manage and develop the engineering team, supervise delivery, implement departmental processes, and lead change initiatives aligned with banking standards.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience leading AI/ML engineering, platform development, or large-scale digital product engineering.
- Enterprise-scale experience deploying AI/ML solutions, preferably in banking or financial services; experience with conversational AI, agents, and generative AI platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Expertise in deep learning, LLMs, multimodal models, RAG, vector databases, agentic systems, NLP/NLU, recommendation engines, and personalization.
- Proficiency with Python, SQL/NoSQL, GraphQL, REST, FastAPI, Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, data platforms, and BI tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience prototyping secure, scalable enterprise solutions.
Nice to have
- Experience implementing a digital-only bank or leading a major digital transformation.
- Master’s degree or equivalent in AI/ML.
- Active contribution to AI communities and open-source projects.
- Experience with foundation models, RLHF, and emerging agentic AI trends.
