Lead Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote from Slovakia only; office address in Košice, Slovakia. Remote work is restricted to Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.

Salary: negotiable; base salary from €2,000 gross per month, depending on seniority and previous experience, plus a variable component and other financial benefits.

What you will do

• Define and evolve the architecture of software solutions, platforms, integrations, and Talent Acquisition products.
• Develop core platform and integration components for HR products and digital platforms.
• Design and implement AI- and LLM-based solutions for production use.
• Support engineering teams with architecture and technology decisions.
• Ensure scalability, quality, security, data privacy, compliance, and AI governance across systems.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Experience in software architecture and building production-grade applications.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, distributed systems, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience delivering AI or LLM-based solutions into production.
• Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and AI governance requirements.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts, influence architectural decisions, and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
• Fluent English and availability to work remotely from Slovakia.
