What you will do

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware and software.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues involving routers, switches, and access points.
• Support network security through firewalls, VPNs, access controls, standards, and protocols.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on network upgrades, new technologies, maintenance, and scheduled audits.
• Support virtual server environments and environment patching.
• Document configurations and procedures while providing technical support to end users and IT staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, switching, and network protocols.
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, access points, Cisco CLI, and the Meraki dashboard.
• Ability to configure and maintain network devices and systems for physical and logical connectivity.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, storage, and security issues.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching or Cisco CCNA Security.
• Meraki CMSS certification.
• CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certification.
