Fire Engineer /Consultant

Location: Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia; the role description also states that the position is based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, with project responsibilities across the Middle East.

What you will do

• Plan and direct design activities for assigned projects.
• Design fire alarm and mass notification systems.
• Design, install, commission, test, and inspect fire alarm and fire suppression systems, including FM-200, foam, and wet systems.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, design drawings, and presentations.
• Review design and construction submittals for regulatory compliance and conduct site surveys of building safety systems, emergency lighting, and exit signs.
• Coordinate with authorities, clients, and project stakeholders while mentoring local team members.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in code consulting and/or fire protection system design, including fire alarm and mass notification systems.
• Engineering qualification in electrical, electronics, or mechanical engineering is preferred.
• Experience across fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, and fire protection strategies.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation and review submittals for regulatory compliance.
• Ability to conduct site surveys and evaluate building features and safety systems.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills for projects across the Middle East.
