BigQuery Data Engineer (GCP/Data Pipelines): Designing and maintaining BigQuery pipelines and data marts that synchronize fitness equipment data across operational and analytics systems with an accent on partitioning, cost optimization, and API consumption. Focus on building migration APIs, automating data processing with managed GCP services, and coordinating extraction and synchronization across existing systems.

is delivering a data platform project for a global fitness and active lifestyle company whose equipment and solutions are distributed in more than 120 countries.
What you will do
- Design and maintain BigQuery pipelines for operational and analytics use cases.
- Build partitioned data marts consumed by APIs.
- Develop components for data import, export, and synchronization.
- Automate data processing with Google Cloud Functions, containerized workloads, and managed GCP services.
- Design on-demand data migration APIs and coordinate migration activities with other teams.
- Help teams extract data from existing systems.
Requirements
- 4+ years of production experience with BigQuery.
- Hands-on experience building PostgreSQL-to-BigQuery pipelines for operational and analytics use cases.
- Experience designing partitioned data marts for API consumption, optimizing BigQuery costs through clustering, incremental models, and scheduled jobs.
- Experience with dbt and technologies including GCP, PostgreSQL, Cloud SQL, Linux, and data processing services.
- Background in IoT, device usage, or subscription analytics.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
