Software Engineer

What you will do

• Develop and maintain robust features and components across the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with solution managers, designers, and senior engineers to gather requirements and deliver business-aligned features.
• Debug development and production issues and tune application performance for scalability.
• Prepare technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and follow coding standards.
• Build and maintain unit, integration, and performance tests.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and platforms in daily engineering work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of relevant software development experience.
• Experience with software development principles and at least some of the listed backend, frontend, database, infrastructure, or cloud technologies.
• Must work onsite in Overland Park, Kansas.
• Applicants for U.S.-based positions must already be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification is required at hire.
• Ability to work additional or irregular hours when needed and comply with security policies protecting company and client information.

Nice to have

• Backend experience with C#/.NET, Java, or Python.
• Frontend experience with React, Angular, or TypeScript.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Linux, cloud platforms, Docker, Git-based CI/CD, Agile, or SDLC practices.
• Healthcare domain experience or hands-on use of developer copilots and AI tools.
