Software Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Overland Park, Kansas, United States; onsite. Applicants for this U.S.-based position must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain robust features and components across the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with solution managers, designers, and senior engineers to gather requirements and deliver features.
• Debug development and production issues and optimize application performance and scalability.
• Prepare technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and follow coding standards.
• Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and performance tests.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and platforms in daily engineering work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of relevant software development experience.
• Experience with software development principles and the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to work additional or irregular hours as needed and sit at a computer for extended periods.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; employment eligibility will be verified at hire.
• Compliance with security policies and procedures is required.

Nice to have

• Backend experience with C#/.NET, Java, or Python.
• Frontend experience with React, Angular, or TypeScript.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Linux, cloud platforms, Docker, Git-based CI/CD, and Agile development.
• Healthcare domain experience or hands-on use of developer copilots and AI tools.
