Senior Data Scientist (iGaming)

Location: Onsite in Almaty, Astana, Belgrade, Cluj-Napoca, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Krakow, Kyiv, Larnaca, Lodz, Lublin, Lviv, Odesa, Riga, Sofia, Tbilisi, Varna, Warsaw, Wroclaw, or Yerevan; remote from Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, or Poland.

What you will do

• Design, evaluate, and refine predictive models for Anti-Money Laundering and Safer Gambling risk indicators.
• Analyze complex behavioral data and investigate anomalies and emerging risk patterns.
• Translate compliance and operational risk insights into practical model features.
• Communicate analytical methods, model evaluation results, and strategic insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist.
• Strong Python and SQL skills for data extraction, feature engineering, and statistical modeling.
• Experience building and evaluating statistical and machine learning models, including XGBoost and linear or logistic regression.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and experience with model evaluation metrics and data-driven investigations.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex analytical concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience in online gaming.
• Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering regulations or Responsible/Safer Gambling frameworks.
• Conceptual understanding of model deployment pipelines.
