Senior Data Scientist (AML)

What you will do

• Design, evaluate, and iteratively refine predictive models for AML and Safer Gambling risk indicators.
• Analyze complex behavioral data and conduct exploratory investigations into anomalies and emerging risk patterns.
• Build statistical and machine learning models to support customer safety and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with compliance and operational risk specialists to translate domain insights into practical model features.
• Present analytical methodologies, model evaluation results, and strategic insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist.
• Strong Python and SQL skills for complex data extraction, feature engineering, and statistical modeling.
• Hands-on experience building and evaluating statistical and machine learning models, including XGBoost and linear or logistic regression.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and experience with model evaluation metrics and data-driven investigations.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex analytical concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience in online gaming.
• Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering regulations or Responsible/Safer Gambling frameworks.
• Conceptual understanding of model deployment pipelines.
