Senior Regional Operations Manager - Southern California (Automotive)

Location: Remote, California; travel as required

Annual salary: $95,000–$100,000; target quarterly bonus: $0–$5,000

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and mentor Regional Operations Managers and oversee inspection team objectives and key results.
• Ensure floor plan audits, vehicle inspections, and facility inspections follow required policies, processes, tools, quality standards, SLAs, and targets.
• Hire and train inspectors, including contractors and full-time employees, and serve as a point of contact for assignments, compensation, process updates, and application questions.
• Coordinate with scheduling, marketplace, commercial sales, product, quality, arbitration, and other departments to support regional growth and complete assignments efficiently.
• Use data to identify inspector trends, assess capacity, improve quality, and increase consistency.
• Work in the field with managers and inspectors, provide customer feedback, and serve as a reserve inspector for new markets and capacity gaps.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of proven leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of automotive mechanical experience.
• Must be based in California and able to travel as required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Working knowledge of technology and electronically submitted inspection reports.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Suite, Slack, and other communication tools.
