Principal Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid workplace model

What you will do

• Coordinate and execute software development and maintenance with product owners and other teams.
• Develop solutions for a new cloud-based risk management product and an established application.
• Improve code quality by investigating and implementing software engineering best practices.
• Ensure a coherent user experience in collaboration with product owners.
• Integrate SimCorp Dimension and Axioma Risk solutions.
• Understand users and translate business value into technical solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of C# programming experience.
• Experience with APL and/or C# .NET, Web APIs, code design, and software architecture.
• Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Azure Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of automated testing for business-critical functionality.
• Ability to solve complex problems structurally and coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, or equivalent experience.
