AV Business Director

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom. Hybrid working with teams in the office around four days a week. This is a UK-based role and applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Lead the overall AV offering, including strategic planning, briefing, implementation, reporting, and buying output.
• Develop AV and video strategies for clients and ensure recommendations are accurate, innovative, data-led, and commercially effective.
• Manage senior relationships with media owners, clients, internal stakeholders, and industry partners across the UK.
• Lead AV team management, development, learning opportunities, ways of working, and culture across all team levels.
• Improve wider agency video investment capabilities in collaboration with digital, social, planning, strategy, and creative departments.
• Support new business pitches, organic business development, industry events, case studies, and award entries.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of the AV market, market mechanics, audits, and AV tools.
• Long-term evidence of strong leadership and experience developing individuals and teams.
• Proactive strategic thinking, strong communication, presentation, numerical, and commercial skills.
• Experience managing AV planning, buying, trading requirements, audits, financial procedures, and SOx compliance.
• Ability to adapt communication and working styles, respond to feedback, remain resilient, and stay calm under pressure.
• Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
