AI Video Lead

Location: Hybrid role based in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia, with remote flexibility and regular campus collaboration.

What you will do

• Turn creative briefs into finished AI-generated short-form videos from concept through final delivery.
• Direct AI video creation through prompting, applying composition, lighting, colour, motion and pacing expertise.
• Build and maintain a library of prompt techniques, references and production workflows for the craft team.
• Work within quality, safety and brand standards while identifying risks related to realism, representation, bias and copyright.
• Provide structured feedback on AI video tools and model outputs to support quality governance and tool improvement.
• Track developments across AI video tools including Higgsfield, Runway, Kling, Veo and Pika.

Requirements

• Deep visual storytelling expertise in composition, lighting, colour, motion and pacing, likely gained through art direction, creative direction or content production.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI video tools such as Higgsfield, Runway, Kling, CapCut, Veo, Pika or Sora.
• Strong prompt-engineering skills, rapid iteration abilities and a portfolio demonstrating AI-generated video work.
• Experience delivering high volumes of creative content to tight deadlines and independently managing an end-to-end production pipeline.
• Strong creative judgement, craft-focused feedback skills and the ability to identify risks and blockers early.
• Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement from Sydney or Melbourne, Australia.

Nice to have

• Experience creating social-first video for TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, basic Python or prompt tooling.
