Expression of Interest - 2D Compositors (VFX)

Location: 100% remote within New York and New Jersey; exceptions will not be considered.

hirify.global is a high-end global visual effects company specializing in photoreal VFX for film, episodic content, and commercials.

What you will do

• Integrate multiple layers and elements into live-action shots.
• Complete shots from start to finish, including roto, tracking, paint, animation, and element creation.
• Extract mattes from blue- and green-screen photography.
• Composite multi-pass CG elements to create photoreal shots.
• Maintain clean, efficient script organization and communicate progress to Coordinators, Producers, Leads, and Supervisors.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of compositor experience for episodic or feature VFX at Mid level, or 5 years at Senior level.
• Strong tracking and blue/green-screen compositing skills.
• Proficiency in Nuke, Photoshop, Boujou, Syntheyes, Mocha, Primatte, Keylight, and Ultimatte.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, accept criticism, and work under pressure with short deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with ShotGrid.
