Production Coordinator (VFX)

Industrial Light & Magic is a visual effects facility creating effects for feature films, commercial productions, attractions, VR, AR, and immersive cinema.

What you will do

• Coordinate scheduling, assignments, targets, and priorities for assigned artist disciplines.
• Track shots, assets, work progress, milestones, and deliveries in ShotGrid.
• Act as the primary liaison between artists, supervisors, leads, production leadership, clients, and vendors.
• Organize turnovers, dailies, shot reviews, and client deliveries while recording feedback and decisions.
• Identify scheduling and technical issues, communicate risks, and support timely solutions.
• Supervise, delegate to, and train assigned Production Assistants.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a VFX or animation production environment.
• Working knowledge of post-production techniques.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Technical literacy with Linux-, Windows-, and Mac-based review programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Art, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
