TL;DR
Data Engineer (SQL/Python/Cloud): Designing and optimising data pipelines, integrations, data warehouses, and cloud-based data platforms with an accent on ETL/ELT, finance systems, and reporting. Focus on building secure data solutions, integrating ERP platforms such as NetSuite, and enabling accurate analytics for finance transformation projects.
Location: Fully remote within the UK with monthly trips to the London office
Salary: £60,000–£70,000 per year

What you will do
- Design, develop, and optimise robust data pipelines and data integration solutions.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, data lakes, and reporting platforms.
- Take ownership of the data engineering environment supporting business-critical systems and analytics.
- Support finance transformation projects and ERP integrations, including NetSuite.
- Work with Finance, Analytics, and Technology teams in an Agile environment.
- Champion data engineering best practices, continuous improvement, data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Strong experience with T-SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with SSIS and Apache Airflow.
- Knowledge of SQL Server, SSRS, SSMS, and SSAS.
- Experience creating Power BI semantic models and using DAX.
- Experience with Python and PowerShell.
- Experience with AWS and Microsoft Fabric cloud platforms.
