Data Engineer (Snowflake)

What you will do

• Develop and support data warehousing, business intelligence, and database solutions using Snowflake, SQL Server, ANSI SQL, and T-SQL.
• Build and maintain ETL and ELT workflows with dbt, Azure Data Factory, and SSIS.
• Design, enhance, and support business intelligence systems primarily with Microsoft Power BI.
• Gather, analyze, and document user requirements and convert them into software solutions.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, release, and maintenance.
• Communicate with project stakeholders and provide end-user application support, including setup, installation, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data engineering.
• Knowledge of dimensional data modeling, including Star Schema and Snowflake schema design.
• Strong ETL development and reporting knowledge based on business processes and measures.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and basic SQL Server databases.
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouse, Fivetran, and dbt transformations.
• Knowledge of Python.
• Knowledge of C# and Azure development.
