Senior Associate, Portfolio Operations

What you will do

• Operate and oversee reconciliation and NAV review technology to deliver reconciled gross Net Asset Values.
• Process client transactions, corporate actions, security pricing, and portfolio reviews.
• Review pricing for equities, options, futures, bonds, and OTC derivatives, sourcing prices from vendors when required.
• Perform position, profit and loss, and GAV reconciliations, investigating and resolving breaks with custodians, brokers, and counterparties.
• Act as a primary contact for at least one client, respond to queries, and ensure client SLAs are met.
• Support client onboarding, projects, change management, and oversight of data transmission technology.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education.
• At least 2 years of experience in investor services or asset management.
• Understanding of equities, bonds, forwards, futures, options, and OTC derivatives.
• Experience with reconciliation technology, a portfolio management system, or an investment accounting general ledger.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and functions such as TEXT, LOOKUP, and MATH.
• Microsoft Office knowledge; intermediate VBA, SQL, or other programming knowledge is advantageous.
