Senior IT Delivery Project Manager (Energy & Utilities)

Salary: $143,756.00–$244,385.00 annually

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects, programs, and operational workstreams in the energy efficiency and utility sectors.
• Establish delivery objectives, work plans, staffing plans, budgets, performance metrics, and governance practices.
• Direct project managers, business analysts, technologists, vendors, subcontractors, and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, communications, change control, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Provide strategic direction across requirements, system documentation, testing, implementation planning, release readiness, and post-launch stabilization.
• Support proposals, financial forecasting, client growth, team hiring, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT project management, technology delivery, systems implementation, business analysis, or consulting delivery.
• 5+ years leading complex IT projects, programs, or portfolios with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholders.
• 3+ years managing or leading project managers, analysts, technologists, vendors, subcontractors, or cross-functional teams.
• Experience leading software development lifecycle activities, including requirements, design coordination, testing, issue tracking, implementation, release readiness, and post-launch support.
• Experience with Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.

• Experience in utility, energy, or energy efficiency sectors.
• Experience with multiple systems, vendors, subcontractors, and client stakeholder groups.
• Experience with proposals, contract management, financial performance tracking, client service strategy, or business growth.
• Experience with project documentation, content management systems, business intelligence, reporting, dashboards, or analytics.
