Manager, Operations, Beta Bags (Medtech)

Salary: $115,000–$145,000 annually, plus 15% STIP

What you will do

• Manage the dedicated Beta Bag organization at the Merrimack manufacturing facility.
• Oversee daily Beta Bag production and coordinate priorities across inventory control, planning, warehousing, quality control, customer service, maintenance, and Finance.
• Define production objectives and represent the Beta Bag Product Area within Merrimack.
• Lead shift communications, huddles, functional meetings, troubleshooting, investigations, and CAPA activities.
• Plan materials, personnel, and equipment resources to support efficient manufacturing operations.
• Coach and develop employees while driving continuous improvement, profitability, and output.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of management experience in a regulated manufacturing environment or equivalent experience.
• Effective leadership, communication, organizational, judgment, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to plan and allocate resources for maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Ability to work with employees and cross-functional teams at all organizational levels.
• Occasional travel of more than 10% is required.

Nice to have

• At least three years of progressive leadership experience in operations, engineering, or product development.
• Experience in the medical technology or another regulated industry.
• Experience with Lean or other manufacturing excellence tools.
