Senior Designer (Principle Prototyping)

Salary: $65–$96 per hour, with three regional US pay ranges adjusted for cost of living.

What you will do

• Build high-fidelity interactive mobile product prototypes using Principle.
• Translate established Figma designs into polished, realistic interactive experiences.
• Design and refine motion, transitions, gestures, animations, and microinteractions.
• Partner with product designers to understand design intent and accurately communicate user journeys.
• Own prototyping deliverables independently while collaborating with established design teams.
• Iterate rapidly based on stakeholder feedback and contribute recommendations to high-profile mobile product experiences.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience with Principle is required.
• Strong interaction and motion design skills, including transitions, gestures, animation, and microinteractions.
• Experience creating realistic, highly interactive prototypes for mobile products.
• Proficiency with Figma and established design systems.
• Strong understanding of mobile user experience and the ability to translate static designs into dynamic interactions.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, communicate effectively, and incorporate feedback quickly.

Nice to have

• Experience prototyping consumer-facing mobile applications.
• Familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
• Experience contributing to large-scale product design initiatives.
