Senior Java Developer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain robust, scalable Java services.
• Own multiple service domains throughout their full lifecycle.
• Investigate, resolve, and prevent production incidents while supporting on-call operations.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and developers to translate requirements into technical designs and features.
• Improve development processes, code quality, testing practices, and system reliability.
• Contribute to the evolution of the microservice architecture and build AI agents to improve productivity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Java software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java Core, Java 8+ features, object-oriented design, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Professional experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Apache Kafka, SQL, and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience maintaining unit, integration, and functional tests using JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, and WireMock.
• Familiarity with TeamCity or Jenkins, and monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills, with knowledge of microservice design and distributed systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Redis or Aerospike.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
