Java Developer (iGaming)

What you will do

• Modernize existing systems and develop new backend services for the hirify.global Open Platform.
• Design and improve high-performance distributed systems focused on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Write clean, well-tested, and high-quality Java code.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve development practices and adopt technologies that provide clear value.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of modern Java, including multithreading and concurrency; Java 21 or 25 is preferred.
• Good problem-solving skills and knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Understanding of distributed systems and backend application design.
• Knowledge of database concepts and experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, Git, and Docker.
• Commitment to producing maintainable, well-tested software.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance tuning and debugging performance issues.
