Calibration Specialist - Columbia, MD

Location: Columbia, Maryland, USA; candidates must be located in the US and have valid US work authorization

Salary: $21.50–$28.50 per hour

What you will do

• Provide in-house and on-site customer support for calibration and certification of test and measurement equipment.
• Work with calibration and product line supervisors and the system administrator to maintain automated calibration systems.
• Evaluate calibration data and prepare complex data reports.
• Coordinate with technical team members to ensure timely turnaround and quality performance on service jobs.

Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel occasionally, approximately 5%.
• Availability to work overtime when required.
• Must be located in the US and have valid US work authorization.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 17025.
