Project Engineer - Gates (Hydropower)

Location: Boucherville, Quebec, Canada; legal status to work in Canada is required

What you will do

• Lead technical activities across engineering, procurement, installation, construction, and project controls.
• Coordinate technical meetings and design reviews and ensure stakeholders understand specifications and expectations.
• Define technical strategies and supply plans with the Project Manager and Procurement Department.
• Participate in supplier and subcontractor selection, negotiations, and technical discussions.
• Track engineering deliverables and supply deliveries against schedule and quality requirements.
• Manage non-conformances and changes and implement contingency plans for project issues or deviations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering.
• Certified member of the O.I.Q.
• Experience in hydroelectricity, energy-producing equipment, or related design and manufacturing.
• Leadership experience and proven ability to coordinate engineering activities and subcontracting.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
• Legal status to work in Canada.
