Sourcing Manager (Agriculture)

Location: AIC Shanghai, Shanghai, China; willingness to travel domestically and locally when required.

What you will do

• Build subcategory strategies with functional leads based on hirify.global’s business conditions.
• Review the end-to-end value chain and implement a competitive, resilient supply network.
• Conduct total cost of ownership and cost-analysis activities with Finance, Operations, and Technical teams.
• Develop market intelligence and execute sourcing processes, including RFI, RFP, RFQ, scorecards, and bid analysis.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and manage contractual variations with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance while mitigating single-source risks through contingency and alternative sourcing plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• At least 5 years of sourcing or procurement experience in a multinational environment, preferably in the chemical, agrochemical, agricultural, or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of raw materials and supply chain management.
• Strategic sourcing, negotiation, conflict resolution, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work across different time zones with global teams and willingness to travel domestically.
