What you will do
- Support analytical work across macroeconomics, equities, fixed income, alternatives, and multi-strategy investment teams.
- Monitor macroeconomic developments, central bank policy, geopolitical events, and asset class dynamics across developed and emerging markets.
- Assist with investment models, data gathering, scenario analysis, idea generation, investment notes, thematic reports, and market commentaries.
- Contribute to quarterly and annual investment outlooks and client presentations for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
- Help design, build, and deploy agentic AI productivity tools and document AI architectures for the CIO Investment Institute.
- Translate investment domain knowledge into practical tool requirements and stay current with applied AI, financial NLP, and AI-native research tools.
Requirements
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in investment research, asset management, or a related financial services function; strong final-year students and recent graduates may apply.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment concepts.
- Demonstrated interest in AI/ML through coursework, personal projects, hackathons, or prior work experience.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis or scripting, with comfort working with APIs and structured or unstructured data.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, presentation, and delivery skills in a high-impact, performance-driven environment.
