Junior Execution Trader (Python/SQL)

What you will do

• Monitor execution across equities, foreign exchange, futures, and other asset classes in multiple regions.
• Provide first-line support for issues arising from automated execution flows.
• Work on adding liquidity to the execution platform and reducing the cost of implementing financial models.
• Analyze large datasets to guide automation and refine execution desk processes.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, brokers, senior management, compliance, risk, and other teams.

Requirements

• Degree in a quantitative or technical discipline from a top-tier institution.
• At least 1 year of experience in a buy-side or sell-side institution in trading, DevOps, or analytics supporting investment strategies.
• Enthusiasm for learning about financial markets and execution trading.
• Experience with at least one mainstream asset class, such as equities, foreign exchange, fixed income, credit, or derivatives.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python scripting and SQL databases.
